You can easily create paper airplanes yourself with just a piece of paper, which are entertaining craft toys. To see how far they can travel, you can try folding a variety of paper aircraft. Longer flight times and greater distances may be possible with more complicated designs. Now, take a sheet of paper and fold it!
1. Folding a classic paper aircraft
Step 1: One standard printing page should be folded in half lengthwise
Pick up a sheet of paper and place it flat. To create a lengthy rectangle, fold the paper in half crosswise. Before unfolding the paper, run your fingernail along the crease.
Step 2: The paper’s top two corners should be folded into the center crease
After unfolding the paper, fold one of the upper edges in the direction of the recent crease to form a triangle. To maintain the crease, use your fingertip. Repeat with the other corner to create a pointed tip for the paper’s top.
Step 3: Refold the top diagonal edges in the direction of the middle fold
To form a narrow triangle, hold the top corner of the folded paper toward the middle fold. To maintain the pleats, run your nails along the folded line. To make the paper resemble a large triangle, fold the upper corner in the same manner.
Step 4:The paper is folded along the center crease
To make the next pleat, lean on the first one. With the triangles you just formed facing in, fold the plane in half along the center crease. In order to maintain the folds, run your fingers along the crease.
Step 5: To make the shape of an airplane wing, fold the sides diagonally into the central fold
The diagonal edge of the paper should be folded into the center crease that you just made. The crease can be buffed out using your fingertip. To fold the other wing, turn the aircraft over. Open it up a little after folding the pleats on both sides to make the rear of the plane flat.
2. Fold the modified plane
Step 1: One paper sheet in two lengthwise
To fold the aircraft, use printed or craft paper. To create a long rectangle, place the paper on a level surface and fold it in half lengthwise. Unfold the paper after tracing the folded line with your fingertip.
Step 2: Top edges should be folded into the middle fold
The top edge of the paper should line up with the center crease when you fold one of the top corners of the paper into a triangle. To maintain the folds, press firmly using your fingers. To make the top of the paper create an acute angle, fold the opposite corner in the same manner.
Step 3: In order to leave about 1.5 centimeters of paper at the bottom, fold the pointed top down
To conceal the formed triangles, fold the pointed tip downward. Fold down until the paper’s bottom edge is just 1.5 centimeters from the tip. To maintain the pleats, fold the crease. Your piece of paper ought to now resemble an envelope.
Step 4: The paper’s top corners should be folded toward the central crease

Step 7: The wings should be lowered until they meet the bottom border
The plane’s diagonal border should be folded in the direction of the crease you just made. To make a second wing, flip the aircraft over and fold the other side similarly. Open the wings so the rear of the aircraft is flat for simple flight.
